If someone ever tells you a certain song is important to them you should turn it up and lay on your bed and close your eyes and really listen to it even if its 10 minutes long because at the end you will know that person much better I think
Find someone who makes you realize three things: one, that home is not a place, but a feeling. Two, that time is not measured by a clock, but by moments. And three, that heartbeats are not heard, but felt and shared.
In Shakespearean we don’t say “I love you” we say “Since my dear soul was mistress of her choice and could of men distinguish, her election hath seal’d thee for herself” which roughly translates to “I trust you completely even though every other person who meant anything to me has betrayed me” and I think that’s really beautiful.
“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”—Nelson Mandela, 1918-2013 (via rauchwolken)
